PsychOz Events

PsychOz Publications offers professional training opportunities that support the professional psychotherapy and counselling practitioner to keep abreast of current developments in theory and practice.

Seminars and Masterclasses offered by leading international and Australian speakers are designed to:

1. be of direct relevance to the learning needs of professionals in clinical practice.
2. consolidate current knowledge and skills in relation to new knowledge.
3. encourage critical appraisal of the different theories and current practice standards, including appraisal of the clinician’s own current practice methods.
4. enhance the effectiveness of clinical practice and enhance positive outcomes.
5. apply relevant and current research findings to clinical practice.
6. promote active and on-going professional learning.

All presenters are highly qualified, have published extensively and draw from their own clinical practice. Methods of training include didactic lectures, handouts, reading lists, video demonstrations, active and experiential learning components. Evaluations are undertaken of all training events.
